Ex Marillion Singer FISH Calls It Quits, Final Solo Show March 10, in Scotland, & Ends His Podcast & Closes Online Store

Former Marillion singer calling it quits as a solo artist. He will perform his final solo show March 10, 2025 - in Glasgow, Scotland


Fish also ends his Fish on Friday broadcast from the studio and closes his online store. He does state he will continue to be creative in another capacity he just has not figured that out yet.


In mid-2023, Fish announced plans to permanently relocate to a 35-acre crofting smallholding on the Outer Hebridean island of Berneray (North Uist) with his wife in 2024/5, as he retires from the music industry.

It's the right time for me to move on I know it's hard for some of you to take and understand. I need to be my own person, I need to go on with my own life. I need to do the things that are important to me. I'm going to be creating music, I'm going to be creative, I'm going to be writing but I don't know, I always have to create. That is my nature, that is what justifies my existence

FISH was the lead singer and lyricist of the neo-prog band Marillion from 1981 until 1988 He released 11 UK Top 40 singles with the band, including the Top Ten singles "Kayleigh", "Lavender" and "Incommunicado", and five Top Ten albums, including a number one with Misplaced Childhood. In his solo career, Fish explored contemporary pop and traditional folk, and released a further five Top 40 singles and a Top 10 album. Wikipedia
